Every plan includes automatic daily backups of your site's files and database. Files are kept for 30 days and the database for 60 days, so your site can be put back to how it was on an earlier day.
See your backups
Open your site under Websites in your GUDHOST account. The Backups section shows how your site is backed up, and the latest backup you asked for with Back up now. A new site's daily backups start within a day of setup.
Back up now
Before a big change, such as switching theme, a major update or an import, press Back up now in the same section. It backs up your files and database straight away (once an hour at most), and we email you when the backup is ready.
Restore a backup
To go back to an earlier day, contact support with your domain, the date and time you'd like to go back to, and whether to restore the whole site, only the files or only the database. See "Restore your site from a backup".
