Reset it from your GUDHOST account
Open your site under Websites in your GUDHOST account. Under Reset an administrator's password, choose the administrator and press Reset password. The new password is shown once on that page and is never sent by email; other administrators keep their passwords. Log in with it, then change it to one of your own under Users → Profile if you like.
Your own password
If you're locked out, you can also use Lost your password? on your WordPress login page. WordPress sends a reset link to the email address of your administrator account. Your login page is the Admin link on your site's page under Websites.
If you're logged in and just want a new password, go to Users → Profile, click Set New Password under Account Management, then click Update Profile.
Another user's password
As an administrator you can reset the password of anyone on your site:
- Go to Users → All Users and click Edit under the person's name.
- Under Account Management, either click Set New Password and then Update User, or click Send Reset Link to email them a link so they choose their own.
The reset email doesn't arrive
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Password reset emails are sent by your website, so they can go missing if your site's email isn't set up well. See "Make sure your site's emails arrive". Resetting the password from your GUDHOST account doesn't need email.
If you still can't get in, contact support from your GUDHOST account and we'll help you get back into your WordPress dashboard.
