GUDHOST plans are built for WordPress only. You can use any theme, and almost any plugin, from the WordPress dashboard. Other software, frameworks or files outside WordPress are not supported.
A few plugins are not allowed because they slow down or destabilise the platform:
- Caching plugins such as W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Rocket and Hummingbird. Your site already has fast built-in caching and a content delivery network, and a second cache causes conflicts.
- Backup plugins such as BackupWordPress. Daily backups with timeline restore are already included.
- VersionPress, Broken Link Checker, MyReviewPlugin, LinkMan and Fuzzy SEO Booster, which use excessive resources.
If a plugin you need is on this list, contact support and we will suggest an alternative.
